Successful all over the world the Tour Lift, which took 18 months in the development and testing period up to its introduction in 1998, has turned out to be a world-wide success. It would be difficult to name another item of stage equipment that celebrated events and stage designers have taken to with such enthusiasm that it became an essential component of their creative work.
The Tour Lift offers maximum precision and reproducibility when positioning the hoist. At the heart of the system sits an integrated, vector-controlled frenquency converter supplied by a high impulse incremental encoder. It’s main characteristic is a degree of positional accuracy that seems scarcely unbelievable: 0.2 millimeters! The Tour Lift product range includes models for loads ranging from 125Kg to 6000Kg and conforming to the BGV-C1 safety standard. A model is available then for applications as diverse as scenery movement at over 40m/min to the lifting of heavy loads. Installed on tours like: Cirque du Soleil, Metallica, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Matchbox 20, Green Day, No Doubt, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and many more.
